A Secret Agenda: Gender Ideology Behind Parents’ Backs
Gender ideology has permeated our culture, and one of the most prevailing means for this is through our public schools. Due to the increasing revolt from parents, the schools have turned to deceptive practices. School counselors conceal children’s struggles with gender dysphoria, children’s confusion is endorsed, and they are pushed to live and act opposite to their biological sex, frequently without parental knowledge or consent. When parents do find out, they are rightly alarmed and outraged. Recently a mother in California went to court over the school regulations that allowed school counselors to secretly “socially transition” her young daughter and conceal her struggles with gender dysphoria from her parents.
Yet the U.S. District Judge dismissed the mother’s lawsuit against Chico Unified School District. Instead of taking responsibility and facing the unlawful regulations that allowed this to happen, the judge dismissed the case under the guise that it was something the legislators should hash out. Issues that are in flagrant disregard of inalienable and fundamental rights should not merely be “left to legislators”. It is the duty of the courts to resolve disputes surrounding unlawful activity and violations of fundamental rights.
Gender ideology’s secret agenda and deceptive practices are wreaking havoc on our culture and it’s targeting our children, driving a wedge in the nuclear family with reckless disregard for its victims. For gender ideology, there is no compromise or grace. You either bow to it or you face the fiery furnace. For those who refuse to use preferred pronouns, affirm a falsehood, or condone dysphoric behavior, they risk job loss, losing custody of their children, or academic penalties. And now, in an increasing trend, to continue with its schemes unimpeded, the proponents of gender ideology have sought to circumvent parents. Yet it is for these exact reasons that parents and Americans everywhere have to push back, no matter the threat from the other side. The cost of not standing is too great. Doing so will inevitably result in more lawsuits, which will force judges to face this - even the ones like the California judge who tried to turn a blind eye.
In response to the uproar from parents about the secret agenda, school officials raise the fraudulent defense of protecting children from abuse. Yet the abuse they are claiming is merely parents affirming their children’s biological sex and not leading them down a path of chemical castration and irreversible damage, which is arguably the real abuse.
Recently in Virginia, Governor Youngkin and his administration released modified model “transgender” policies in accordance with Va. Code § 22.1-23.3 that better respect parents. The prior administration released model policies in 2021 that encouraged the practice of deceiving parents and usurping the fundamental rights of parents among other egregious practices. These policies stood in direct violation of the constitutionally and statutorily recognized fundamental rights of parents, as well as students and teachers who do not wholesale swallow the tenets of gender ideology. Much irreversible damage has already been done to the next generation. Stories like this California mother and her 11-year-old, Sage’s, and Chloe Cole’s, are only a fraction of the widespread destruction that gender ideology leaves in its wake. The justice system will not address these unconstitutional laws and regulations unless brave parents like the California mom choose to stand up and keep persisting. The more voices that resist, the more actively parents can pull back the curtain on the schools’ deceptive practices, and the less that they can operate in the dark.
