Suffolk School Board Member Disciplined by Board on Bogus Charges

Suffolk, VA - Founding Freedoms Law Center represented Suffolk School Board Member Dr. Dawn Marie Brittingham in a closed meeting of the Suffolk School Board last week on charges that she violated the Board’s code of ethics. The charges were based on two innocent actions by Dr. Brittingham in which she was doing her job as an elected school board member and exercising her constitutionally-protected free speech. Subsequently, the Board initiated the first step of formal discipline against her for an ethics violation.

REALTOR Ethics Panel Rules Against FFLC Client Wilson Fauber, Claiming “Hate Speech”

Richmond, VA - A final appellate ethics panel of the Virginia Association of REALTORS ruled against our client, Realtor and ordained minister, Wilson Fauber, claiming that he engaged in unethical “hate speech” against “the LGBTQ+ community” in violation of the National Association of Realtors’ code of ethics. FFLC attorneys are now actively exploring legal options.

FFLC Sues Virginia School Boards Association For Public Records

Richmond, VA -Today, the Founding Freedoms Law Center, the legal arm of The Family Foundation, filed a lawsuit in Hanover County Circuit Court against the Virginia School Boards Association (VSBA) on behalf of Hanover parent Sabrina Civils.
